Customizing the UI

The UI tab reshapes the app around you: colors, text styling, scale, and even which tabs exist.

Theme & colors

Pick the primary and secondary colors and the app derives the rest: hover states, panel backgrounds, header tints. The text styling colors (narration, dialogue, emphasis, code) are separate pickers, so your story's look is independent of the chrome. A live preview chat shows every change before you commit.

Display settings

• Chat style: how messages are laid out and labeled.
• UI scale: one slider resizes the whole interface, useful on high-density screens and for touch.
• Message metrics: optional per-reply stats for the curious.

Navigation tabs

Choose which tabs appear in the top bar and drag them into your preferred order. Rarely used systems can disappear entirely until you want them back.

Performance

Options that trade visual effects for speed on weaker devices, plus lazy loading thresholds for long chats.
